We would like to take the time to introduce ourselves and tell you about an interesting presentation we offer. Through interpretation of historic ruins and remnants around Long Island we explain history. We do this through our presentations, our website, li-ruins.com and documentaries we produce. A few examples of what we cover include an old set of railroad tracks no longer going anywhere, an abandoned building with a long history, or something from the past that found a creative re-use.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you.

Here is the presentation we are currently offering:

Long Island’s Ruins Presentation

filmstrip.gif
Long Island has had many different eras, much like the waves that crash onto our shores. Each of these eras leaves behind ruins that tell their story. In this multimedia presentation you will hear that story as Kevin and John interpret the ruins around us. Included are ruins from industries past, the gilded age, military fortifications, and nineteenth & eighteenth century left-behinds. Through photos, video and discussion of Long Island’s ruins you will not only learn about Long Island’s history but how to experience it.

If you want an exceptional lecture given by professionals please contact us using the form on this page.

You can also reach us by phone at: 631.961.8862

Sincerely yours,

Kevin K. Vagle & John S. Leita
